Okay, so we're all about challenging gender stereotypes. Out with pink for girls and blue for boys. But just take a look at the guayabita, now this is a pink worth fighting for.

To be worn with pride along with matching bracelet. The muted turquoise green and dark coffee colours in the straps make this beautiful design one of a kind and the perfect addition to any young girls wardrobe.

Why a Tmac Mochilita?

Have you heard about our #miprimeramochila campaign?

We launched this campaign to get young girls thinking ethically from an early age about where the things they own come from. #mirprimeramochila or "my first bag" was launched not only want to teach young girls to value all of their possessions but also to start from a young age instilling in young girls the importance of supporting other girls.

This is the perfect gift for any daughter, granddaughter, goddaughter or niece - a lasting gifts that will be treasured and passed down through generations.

You can find out more about our #miprimeramochilacampaign here

By buying one of these beautiful bags you are supporting womankind - financially, of course, but also by sharing their story - we have to work together ladies - where better to start than with a beautiful bag? It’s actually kind of obvious.

Tell me more about the Guayabita

This particular design is one of a range that has been exclusively designed for TMAC by Teresa Uriana from Riohacha. Every piece in the Wayuu Collection is made by a highly skilled female artisan and the sale of which goes directly to support her and her family.

Please note that our mochilas and mochilitas come in a range of different sizes - you can find out about the difference in more detail in this blog post. We have measured each individual bag, check out the exact dimensions of the Guayabita below.

Our double thread mochilitas take approximately one full week to make. The entire process is carried out by hand by Indigenous Wayuu women, who have learnt their skills from generations of women before them.

What’s in the Box?

All of our Wayuu Collection comes hand packaged in a beautiful box, with a description of where your pieces have come from, who made it and a set of cards to share with friends and family so you can show off that you are a conscientious consumer - it’s something to be proud of!
